Where in live does it say that everyone has to be NICE! F*&K how boring! I am going through this with my daughter at the moment. My mother, Daycare are all drumming it into her that she needs to be nice.
I am not a nice person, I will tell the truth, I am not scared of not being the nice person in the room.
Whenever someone (including my OH) tells me that I am not being very nice I always turn around and say "I never said I was NICE". I have a great wonderful heart and I play nice with others But I am not Nice! I am very polite and understanding. I can be really warm and wonderful to family and friends. But i am also very honest and speak my mind instead of holding my tongue. I stand up for the truth. I get pissed off and get angry. I show my emotions a lot.
Don't get me wrong I tried being the Nice fat girl! Hell i tried it for over 24 years but the suit didn't fit. Once I started being me I was happy. and isn't that more important then being NICE!
I would rather have a daughter that is 100% herself and a bitch, then a nice little fake girl any day.
and don't the nice people finish last!
