WOW what a week.

My little Family n I are fine we live down the coast so there was no flooding in our area, But I have family and friends that have lost alot, and I am happy to report no deaths or missing. Once the water goes down, the electricians have come through and ticked off the houses as safe we will be in Brisbane to help out over the weekend. It is so sad and a big mess. But many hands make light work! I have been putting all our cloth we can spare together, as well as all Towels, sheets, blanks and toiletries that we can spare.


I have a friend that I was most fearful for, she has a small family and lives at Gatton (that's the bottom of Towoomba) They are all safe, There house was spared, and they got all there horses and cattle to high ground, She sent some Photo's that I will pass on just to show what the water did!

They lost they car and a horse float but gained a new red car and a container full of antique furniture for 5-7kms up stream

Car Up a tree that looks like it went through the neighbor house first before finding a tree to get stuck in!

    xxoxo My parents were out with the pressure washer, mops and buckets at the local pool trying to get rid of all the mud etc. It was terrible around their place but like you said, many hands have made light work. I hope everything went well for you on the weekend
