back to it

So
  • Helmet - check!
  • Shoe thingys - check!
  • Tri suit/swimmers - not as yet looking at tomorrow as Tri shop was shut over holiday break
  • ear plugs - check!
  • running belt - getting at Tri shop well not tri shop but the 2XU shop :) which is down the road :)
  • run through on the weekend - check!
I ended up doing 2 full run through and 3 small ones. for example swimming to running, or bike to run, just to help me work out how my legs will go with it all.

Long weekend was so nice with family :) Little Miss was soo excited about the Easter bunny leaving chocolate around the house for her (we can't have a easter hunt out side as my two dogs would eat it all be for the hunt would start).

My riding group did not happen as planned I got up at 4.45am to ride to the meeting point but had some trouble with little Miss waking up and not wanting me to go and my front light on the bike that i stop for two or three times which made me late to the meeting point and missing the group. The meeting time was 5.30am i was told but that was the leaving time and i was 5minutes late :( .. oh well you live and learn will. be 5 minutes early next Saturday.

For the last 4 months I have not been using CK, just to see if i can do it on my owe, I am pleased to say that i have been doing really well and I have maintained my weight for the 4 months, But its now time to get back to it and lose the last 10kg that need to be done, for my training, hockey and my health. One of the first things on my list to do is drink more water. Reading one of Jess blogs i am still under on my water .. so that has to improve!

Another thing i have learnt is that I have to exercise to be normal.. what ever normal is. But for me to get thought the day is a good mood I either have to have exercised or it is some where in my day. If i miss one day my head and mood seem to be very flat and i seem to head for the fridge to handle the problem instead of exercising. - need to change that brain patten!!!

So this week is hockey training, running, more ocean swimming, with a big ride on Saturday!!! but i fill you all in on that more as it comes around!

    You are going to do great, remember the race is the award for all your hard work that you have put in.
